The Hario Coffee Filter Holder V60 Kasuya is based on the 4:6 brewing method developed by Tetsu Kasuya. With this technique, the water is divided in a ratio of 40% (for flavour) to 60% (for strength). The specially adapted ribs inside the filter slow down the water flow, enabling optimal extraction.
Use a coarser grind and wait until the water from the first pour has completely flowed through before starting the next pour. This guarantees a strong and flavourful coffee – even with fewer beans.
